WE NEED EVERYONE TO EMAIL ALL THE MAYORS AND CITY OFFICIALS OF THE CITIES OCAC SERVES! ASAP - Regardless of what city you are in. BCC ALL OF THEM!
Let them know our concerns about OCAC, I'm sure you can copy and paste whatever you've sent to the supervisors, take some pointers from the attachments, or use the latter part of this email with the links to the most recent news media articles about OCAC. Make sure to change the wording, please.... anything, but they need to hear from us ASAP - as in last week, kind of ASAP! Here is the list of every city that OCAC services and their contacts.

Here is the latest news article about the overwhelming cat overpopulation in Orange County (in case you haven't seen it yet). This level of overpopulation seems to have started when OC Animal Care stopped their TNR program, along with not offering low-cost/no-cost spay and neutering services AND not accepting healthy stray cats. As many of you know and have personally witnessed, OCAC tells the residents to leave the cats where they were found or in another neighborhood, if they are a nuisance - This perpetuates the birthing cycle - WE CAN NOT ADOPT OUR WAY OUT OF THIS PROBLEM
Prevention is key here! WE NEED SPAYING AND NEUTERING SERVICES. How is it that Orange County residents have to drive to neighboring counties to use their resources to get OC cats fixed? Orange county cannot afford these services, but many counties and cities with less per capita income can. How?
WE NEED HELP!!! FREE ADOPTIONS ARE NOT THE ANSWER!
Here are a few more articles that have come out within the past few months
